In- Camera Composites

These images have not been assembled in Photoshop.
Shot on film in sequence, the negative space between frames is incorporated so that an entire strip of images is printed as whole. Intended to bend reality by abstraction and recombination, they are composed in-camera without digital or darkroom manipulation. The result is not entirely seamless, but suggestive. The combination of incongruent pieces give visual appeal while being physically disconcerting. Their differing camera orientations, repetitive subject matter, and shadows blending into the negative spacing help impart familiarity, but raise questions upon scrutiny.
